Everybody needs a camel coat. That’s my two cents. Yet the thing about a camel coat is that it’s never the most “in” item for the season but easily stands the test of time. Like our beloved LBDs, it’s a true non-conformist, self-expressive style.
This season, I wanted one that’s obviously camel, a.k.a. classic, but more than just being basic that can look straight out of my mother’s closet (no belittlement intended here). For under $130, this Missguided coat fits all my fastidious requirements: the classic hue is now updated with grey, wooly contrast lapels and turn-up cuffs; the shoulder is slightly extended to achieve that modern, oversized cut; its bottom hem hits just below my knees – the most flattering longline length in my view. I cannot be happier.
So far, Missguided has been a success to impress this finicky dresser. I appreciate its modern character san the cynical non-sense. I’ve saved my favorite for last – z hours x Missguided – No.3 features a crazy chic, insanely versatile bomber jacket. Stay tuned. You won’t be disappointed.
xx,
D
