When Missguided contacted me for collaboration, I was just vexing over how quickly a pair of dream denim from their store went sold out in my size. Those skinny jeans are exactly what I wanted: rips open across the knees in perfect amount with frayed leg openings to match. Although a collab didn’t mean they could somehow find me another pair – once they’re gone, they’re gone. But that unexpected kind gesture instantly perked me up from the regret, to say the least.
I have been a long time fan of this über chic British fashion house. A large part is for its contemporary character: the unassuming clean lines create individual, effortless style that easily takes us from day to night. And that’s my dressing goal too in a nutshell. The other part is for its value. Accessibility of premium fashion is where I see the future of this industry points. Check out their collections here, you’ll see what I mean. 😉
This grey coat is one of the three items Missguided sent me. I’m always drawn to menswear inspired details. This coat has a tailored shape that adds just right amount of androgynous edge. The fabric is so plush that I wish to just rub my face against it. My usual size fits perfectly. Today, I’m wearing a basic cashmere v-neck and a pair of vegan leather pants with it. But experiment with confidence – you’ll be pleased to find this coat effortlessly versatile.

I’m wearing:
Missguided Hether Textured Tailored Boyfriend Coat in Grey | H&M cashmere v-neck sweater (sold out), faux leather pants (sold out), & animal print sneakers (old) |SAINT LAURENT Ligne Classique Y leather tote | Celine sunglasses (call your retailers for details)
