Despite the freezing weather now in Boston, I find it not too entirely unpragmatic to start thinking spring. The key is the gold ol’ rule of thumb, layering.
Believe it or not, light layers add up. And perhaps an even more helpful tip here is to go with special thermal under layers, like the white turtleneck from Uniqlo that I’m wearing.
Other alternatives include sheer, body-hugging cashmeres.
This grey dress was a thoughtful gift from Saint Jerome, an Australian label focusing on everyday minimal, timeless designs.
The vertical-ribbed dress is actually a stretchy, sleeveless cotton knit. But it sure transcends season to fit my current lifestyle with just a few tweaks like layering.
Also try it with a cozy, oversized pullover on the top, and warm, knee-high boots on the bottom. Order your regular size. The dress fits true to size, but note that the neck opening can be slightly tight.
