The fact that New England has a very puzzled early spring is not going to stop me from breaking out my light and cheery outfit already. I mean, there are items that easily transfer back and forth between warm and chilly days, this plaid skirt being one. Its color palette is weighty and thus wintery but the slightly crinkly fabric and its asymmetrical handkerchief cut says spring. I’m wearing it over these skintight leggings with my lifesaver cold-weather boots for the chill. But hopefully soon enough, I’ll rid all the fuss all together and just top it with a breathable tee and finish with the most comfy sandals and call it a day.
