My photos don’t do what I wore or where I went justice. Instead, there are more details to the blazer that were covered under the trench for practical reasons; there is certain joie de vivre as well as darkness to the city I live in, of which I perhaps only captured a mere glimpse.
I will be back with more of those.
It’s enviably all sunny and warm there in the Southern Hemisphere, though I’ll leave the argument of them being ahead or behind to you. The sleeve-slit crepe blazer from their current season and the tie-belt coat just the one prior are going to extend nicely into spring here – a very rare but environmental thought that never fails to ease me. The oversized ring detail has enjoyed some longevity and will likely stay relevant in the coming season. The manipulated sleeves are in the same class, giving the sleek-lined blazer one more reason to love.
Most importantly, they made me think of spring. There is never a bad time for that but right at the season’s imminence harnesses the joy of anticipation.
I cannot wait for the city to warm up again to streamline the morning routine, relieve my labored layering, and give life and style a chance to shine in this reinvigorated town, at last.
I’m wearing:
C/MEO Have It All Blazer | Dsquared2 metal swan print T-shirt | Vetements platform boots (sold out) | Brochu Walker tapered crepe pants (past season) | Theory trench coat (past season)
C/MEO COLLECTIVE THE DEFINITION COAT | Women’s Vince Track Pants | Dorateymur ‘Radio’ ankle boots | Rib Long Sleeve Turtleneck
