This was a much-needed restorative getaway. Disney World still sparkled its magic for these two adults – I felt the urge to tear up at the fireworks more than ever (is that some sort of sign of my age or what?!); and Orlando has my dream weather at this time of the year. The deja-vu tropical greens were refreshing to the eye – apparently we took them for granted when we lived in LA and didn’t know better. 😉
On a side note, our stay at the Ritz Carlton Orlando, Grande Lakes was super smooth – the room service was impeccable and the resort was perfectly tranquil. With clear waters, an infinity pool, acres of green land for golfing and an unobstructed view of the horizon, I easily killed a day just staying in.
Are you folks all ready for the holiday season? Get the spirit up and going! Minus the temps, it’s my favorite time of the year.
