MM6 Maison Margiela, Rick Owens Lillies, Comme Des Garcons Play, Helmut Lang, IRO, T by Alexander Wang are just a few of The Dreslyn’s thoughtfully curated names. Having ogled the site, I figured I could rest assured that my bias toward pensive aesthetics now finds yet another like-minded pal.
It takes certain independence to appreciate designers who share a similar creative character.
Refreshing, sleek, bold, elegant, traveling between femininity and masculinity, but constantly timeless – The Dreslyn’s surely got a complicated character but each trait is energetic. I spot certain humming chaos mixed in its definite content and positively free expressions. And I found that part gratifying.
I picked out this sheer grey knit and the long overcoat in a similar shade, both by T by Alexander Wang, at the online store. The sleek diagonal pocket finished with a circle zipper on the coat is precisely the right amount of details to me that matches its elongated silhouette and sleek temperament.
I’m wearing jeans and socks this time to illustrate that greys certainly can but don’t have to be grave. That said, both items easily cater to distinct occasions with a quick change of bottoms and accessories.
