Would you include cashmere in your summer wardrobe?
It’s not a novel idea anyways but I’ll restate my thoughts.
A lightweight cashmere knit has been my go-to if I need to stay in a well air-conditioned environment or go out in a windy, cool evening. Like how boots have accomplished an extended life through warmer months, why cannot the very utilitarian cashmere?

This wrap/vest from Brochu Walker’s latest season actually isn’t the ultra sheer single-ply version. But the sleeveless design made it perfect for warm days, besides for layering. The rich folds in an asymmetric manner create luxurious volumes at front – such a compelling feature.
And I challenged myself to go for a slim fit – as opposed to my usual oversized – on linen. Your thoughts? One thing to note is, these belted pants fit like custom-made – VINCE hands down makes one of the most brilliant cuts out there.

Your style continues to evolve! I absolutely love this look for summer. I would definitely wear cashmere in the summer. Oftentimes, my job blasts the central air, so a lightweight cashmere top is a great alternative. Hope you had a great weekend!
