Natacha Ramsay-Levi's debut collection for Chloé was full of historical references and these house-heritage horses were Levi's homage to her predecessors McCartney and Philo's love of the animal. All is lovely except that these chevaux seem to fare the best at its own circus.
Among the numerous collections Philo designed at Céline, the SS18 and succinct Fall 18 - the last collection Philo fully oversaw, may be my favorites so far. In that sense, ending on such a high note is indeed apt.
