They glide. They gleam. They ooze poise, grace and drama. Silk fabrics create gentle strength sans aggression.
A few universal design elements to look for on a timeless piece are monochromes, architectural and ergonomic silhouettes, an easy or even oversized fit, and hints of retro vibes.
Above all, I mostly wish to wear the coat sans fussy layers when spring arrives.
It’s never not a time for the multitalented. But now is the utmost. And the trendiest styles are the ones that keep up.
Fit is the new it. Even better, suitability is the new it.
Most importantly, they made me think of spring. There is never a bad time for that but right at the season's imminence harnesses the joy of anticipation.

2016 marked more major events in our lives than many earlier ones. And above all, I came to an age when I, hopefully, progressed into piecing my career, family, surroundings, goals and purposes into a more holistic perspective.
