Any born-in-the-80s kid may well share the experience of blasting electric fans on a hot summer day. Summer was not just scorching but also unbearably humid in the region where I grew up. What was a more pleasant sight than a fan on one of those days? A frozen treat did not compare; a pool or a breach trip was great but I still needed my fan. What can I say? It was a time when a simple fan could put a big heart-felt smile on us.
This dress was love at first sight for that reason – nothing epitomizes a playful summer better. The rustic hand of the waxed cotton and its supple volume are essential complements for the idle season.
