This is not your average flared skirt. When I hear the word flare in skirt, I associate it with a cute and feminine outlook. I didn’t think a flared skirt could be this cool. This one by C/EMO Collective has the perfect, exaggerated structure. Its fabric is quite weighty – I love how the skirt just swings with my movement without losing its shape; its curved lines are clearly defined; and the best part is, personally, its unexpected, extra length.
I’m pairing it with a sweatshirt with some velvet Jacquard details on the front. I was also able to wear a pair of leather pants underneath without looking out of the picture, to combat Boston’s windy fall weather.
