Sounds Like A Party

The snap series from the past week surely sounds like a party. These loafers load up on glitters. They lighten up all faces everywhere I go. For some unidentified reasons, I couldn’t resist them.

And my favorite latest home addition goes to L’Objet’s pink champagne scented candle. It’s elegant and innocently hedonistic; it’s very La-Belle-Époque-esque. The finely patterned black-and-gold ceramic jar is as enchanting as the aroma. From a practical point of view (and to kill the romance in a heartbeat), it’s bathing in champagne without a mess.

Among many meeting places – a.k.a. cafes – I’ve been, this cute place called Knave located in Midtown East is a nice and quiet hideaway from the hustle and bustle of the town. The cappuccino was smooth and the pain au chocolat was fresh and buttery. I stayed 15 minutes longer than planned just to lose myself in reading a bit.
