Freshly updated scarf-collar on a classic ribbed knit in this season’s festive hues sounds like a wholly stocked package to me. And at the comeback of pleated skirts, these vastly retro-reminiscing floral prints traveled from our parents’ living room upholstery to recent runway pieces are anything but outdated. Go all out with opaque white tights; otherwise, tone it down with tonal tights or OTK boots.
On a side note, it’s uplifting to see pieces like these that appear to be cut out to be real, not sold, reap great commercial success. There is a delicate art of balancing authenticity against curation at the other end of the creative spectrum.
