    Rock the 80s

    June 21, 2017

Padded dramatic shoulders with a dazzling star print all-over in a relaxed silhouette likely sum up all my current favorites. In the past few seasons, we saw classic high fashion houses being renewed with fresh visions via creative directors like Anthony Vaccarello and Demna Gvasalia. Strong eighties influences are amplified to achieve cinematic outlooks, conveying a spirit of robust conviction that I appreciate. The theme of strong women is never out but at the moment more pronounced.

To circle back to a celebration of softer femininity in the ensuing seasons is just a matter of time.

But that’s for later. Let’s eat the fruit at its ripest.

Appended are a few life moments from the past week. A fancy and more notably, environmental way to carry lunch came to replace my paper lunch bags, thanks to Moreca’s leather Lunch Bag. It was our first time trying the Russian sesame latte at Coffeemania NYC, and I’m ready to head back for more. Between food and food, dog park near my place is where I most frequent on a regular day. The seasonal rose bushes there are always a stopper.
