Pink cuz It’s That Time of the Year

I admit: this is a much delayed post. I wore this outfit a few weeks ago but I’m hoping this post is up right in time for Valentine’s Day. Really, a pink, pleaded, full skirt is a special occasion thing for me, literally. But I cannot deny this skirt offered an interesting change from my mostly monochrome daily outlooks. Of course you don’t have to go pink or red for that day – I wore all black and went on a date with a girl friend last year (yes we both were in a relationship and yes we’re still with the same men 😉   ). But if you do decide to go pink, consider going all out, like how I did here. In this look, I’m pairing up this romantic hue with these matching heels, oversized coat, and lips.
