As I type this, I’m taking a break from packing, a daunting task for a not-so-savvy packer. (In case you missed my previous post, hubby and I are relocating to NYC for work reasons.) I started stressing over it ridiculously early – literally the moment we learned his start date. So I decided to do something. I dug out a book on organizing and set out to read the book to settle my nerves.
Anyways, long story short, there is a chapter in the book on organizing the wardrobe and the key message is to do so by category. I precisely followed the highly useful instructions, only to find that I have way more denim pieces than I realized. Alongside the denims with the same trend are navy tops.
Guess picking such a top from the latest Keepsake The Label lookbook was a no-brainer to me. The flared sleeves alone would’ve sealed the deal, let alone the retro and slightly funky metallic sparkles. I knew it was a keeper at first sight.
What’s equally palpable was my instinct to wear it with my favorite jeans and these wood-heel loafer pumps.
