Modern Open Weaves

How about some open weaves for the first of August?

The way this crochet piece is patterned decidedly transforms an otherwise vintage crafty look to a modern one. These funky triangles on chest made beach-attire-on-street easy: bikini and cover up in one is how I like to think this.

The top would also wear perfectly under a leather jacket thanks to its punk chic vibes via these geometric patterns (I’d put on one to demonstrate the effect if it weren’t a scorcher).

I figured I could use some structure from these diagonal-lined trash shorts. As an alternative, a pair of beautifully draped wide-legs would also do.
