I’m never a fan of the cold but however icy it gets outside, some bright, summery hues always brighten up my day instantly like magic. This is my second attempt with this mint coat since the last colorblock look, and I simply cannot get enough of it. The trapeze cut gives the outerwear a clean, oversized silhouette. The dropped shoulder isn’t overwhelming like some of the wide-cuts can get. Unlike the coat’s body, the sleeves are nicely fitted. The houndstooth sweater inside is sheer and hence perfect for layering – I’m wearing it over a basic silk blouse. And I think the destroyed boyfriend jeans are really self-explanatory – bottom line, every girl should have a pair. Agreed? 🙂

@Diana,

love how you’ve rolled the sleeves on that fab mint coat…I’m following you with bloglovin btw…so see you!
Hi Diana! You look gorgeous! I findI tend to lean towards ‘all black’ outfits in the winter. They are just so easy and versatile. However, I have been looking for different ways to brighten up my wardrobe and this look has inspired me to search for some pastel colored items. Great pairing with the houndsooth and mint! ~ Lauren http://www.ginnysclosetblog.com
