I went up one size for this dress. The touch of extra room pushed for a slightly boxy look without risking being overly baggy. That said, if you’d rather get a proper fit, by all means order your regular size.
An asymmetric cut isn’t a novelty anymore. But I find successful drape still thrilling. The expression from the latter is organic, as different body shapes would probably create their own forms and movements.
One this dress, the slight pinch on one shoulder creates fluid lines while the other sleeved shoulder extend out without a glitch. On occasions, being formless is certainly a compliment.
I also find the extra matt, almost velvety hand of the fabric on this dress mesmerizing. The dull surface seems to mirror more subtle details under different lighting.
In the excerpt I noted versatility. At the height of streetstyle drama today, an evening gown paired with sneakers isn’t exactly striking anymore. Versatility in fashion has turned a sluggish word. That said, I’d like to credit the word by showing you how seamlessly this dress goes from day to night. Agreed? Thoughts?
