Being a big hat person, I walked pass the Goorin Bros. store in my neighborhood many times and remembered always being intrigued by its immaculate window displays. And thanks to their invite, I now got a chance to explore more about this uber hat maker.
I thought Goorin Bros. was a local gem – I was wrong. They have boutiques in many major cities nationwide. They pride themselves in the brand’s rich heritage and impeccable craftsmanship, which they call the Art of Hat Making. And I was lucky enough to experience all that firsthand and testify.

I’m most impressed by the quality of their hats. All their hats have a durable hand. The soft wool and smooth straw all feel fresh. Their hats usually come in 3 sizes – S, M, L, – and they fit true to size. But a head size measuring service is readily provided upon my arrival regardless.
The carefully arranged hat accessory bar provides a variety of unique add-ons to your hat.
Another thing to note is that they also curate a beautiful selection of hat accessories at their Accessory Bar. Pin on some colored feather strands, or a themed metal pin to truly put a personal stamp on your hat.

The service was highly thoughtful and efficient. Everybody at the store was ready to help walk me through their collections and best-sellers, and most importantly, help me pick my hat.
This vintage-y blue hat was the first runner-up.
The vintage-style blue straw fedora was definitely a finalist but the wide-brim black wool was irresistibly cute too! Decisions. Decisions.
