Focus can become an issue in low-light settings but a blurry snap still captures bliss. To match the festivities in the air and to celebrate my affection for plaids and sparkles, I loaded up on checked patterns and colorful glitters in the past week.
The Balenciaga checkered coat is a spin on their classic hourglass-shaped designs. Wear it all buttoned up for business and open for play. In similar hues, the Miu Miu short shearling jacket is from past season but remains to be a favorite – I couldn’t possibly resist a cozy cocoon jacket anyways. The Germanier glitter cascade ruffle skirt, on the other hand, is the most rock-and-fun among all. It reminds me of my passionate Saint Laurent days (still a fan), and I know for sure a Saint-Laurent-esque piece cannot go wrong. What’s most appealing about this skirt is it used recycled fabrics. Anything eco-friendly or animal-ethical always gets my vote.
