Gilded Moments

Keepsake The Label’s latest season is crazy chic, glamorous, yet still Aussie-cool. I’d like to think that the collection deftly mixes up trendy vintage and edgy minimalism in one.

I wore this outfit to a photo shoot at The Langham Hotel in Boston where the dramatic setting was a sure match. My instinct was to wear sneakers with the skirt on a regular day; but for the occasion, a pair of killer pumps is a must.

This outfit is feminine, elegant, and fun. The tassels on the wrap skirt are riveting. The subtle sheen on the fabric together with the rust hue creates some richness that reminds me of the Gilded Age.

My favorite parts are the bell-shaped sleeves and the drop-shoulder extra wide neck opening on the cropped top.

Dressed to the nines, I could really use a drink at the hotel’s Bond Lounge where the theatrical chandeliers set the mood. What else to say besides: walk right in and take a seat, the water is just fine?
