Each year, there is a time or two when all the major style authorities decide to alley and claim that the fringe is back, as if it had been long gone. My thought is that it’s not a go-big-or-go-home scenario for fringes and tassels. Instead, these decorative details go either buoyant or subtle but never quit the fashion scene entirely.
I had been looking for a fringed leather jacket and this one came up more than ideal. Fringed sleeve was my exact goal but with this particular piece, the zipped bomber shape offers a cool bonus. The fringe extends along the sleeves and all the way through the back. I’m wearing this plaid pencil midi on the bottom. The skirt is formed into this adorable mini high-low hem and a back slit to ease the movement.
What are your thoughts on those flowy, loose little edges, loves? 🙂

D

I love how you paired the jacket with the plaid skirt. It’s busy at the bottom, and the fringe balances the look! Love it!
