Don’t doubt: football shoulders – they’re a thing now.
The hot potato of the moment is the deluxe football-uniform-turned-high-street-phenomenon. The stylistic landscape quickly impelled an argument weather to risk half of your monthly rent for a, in my view, rather demographically specific trend. At the uncertainty of how resilient the statement maker’s vitality is, there is actually more than one way out, or I shall rather say, into the trendy scene.
I examined my wardrobe and found a handful of oversized outerwear items from the past season. Cocoon shaped jackets are particularly a sound place to start. With just slight structure, these are ready to be transformed into the said hot potato.
Just create a simple elevated waist with any your favorite belt. The raised waistline injects even more volume into the upper body, illuding gazers with a beefy façade consisting brawny chest and ultra wide shoulders.
These ankle boots, on a separate note, are some recent budget finds. I longed for a refreshing addition to my shoe closet and these fit all characters I imagined for the season. The softly padded soles were also a relief to my feet – you know I wouldn’t even bring it up if they weren’t functional.
Football shoulders and some new Western-inspired booties – nothing is really an arm-and-a-leg away here.
