    Flow State

    November 13, 2016

    I’m wearing:

ATM Anthony Thomas Melillo striped shirt (past season) | Hannan COAL FLOW MIDI | HAIDER ACKERMANN Ankle boots | Loewe Puzzle Small Leather Satchel Bag, Tan

    More similar styles:

There is a silly pun intended in the title as I alluded to the flowy neoprene-jersey panel skirt on me. But really, the past election week in America was full of rage and craze. Not knowing how brief or enduring my own disappointment will be, I was searching for a way to return to the flow state, or in plain word, to focus.

I found myself desperately clicking on an online article today: The Happiest People Don’t Let Their Minds Wander, According to a Harvard Study. To drastically reduce the writing down for all you busy folks, happiness is, in short, living in the moment. My wandering mind digressed constantly and drastically this week – distracting but more importantly disheartening. The article was indeed well timed.

It’s funny how my husband is a firm believer in meditation and that exact statement is almost a top mantra in our house. Despite that, it’s refreshing to hear a reminder at the specific moment in the center of the external challenges and internal chaos.

So I thought I’d share this to hopefully remind all of us a potent and efficient way to regain some much-needed empowerment and eventually, to share an open mind in spite of all our doubts and the uncertainties in front.

    Peace.

Have I told you that I found you on Instagram first then I am obsessed with your feed?! I think you do an equally good job here blogging! Really nice photography and of cos, living in the moment is the best way to escape from all the possible dangers or misfortunate and uncertainties (after all, things will be good eventually). So, stay positive!
