The tonal eyelets-decorated extra-long belt and the way it is supposed to go several rounds to form a wide sash reminded me of a kimono obi AND a western belt, somehow. That’s a wild combination but seems to jive well with the rustic linen-like surface of the wool-cashmere blend fabric. Cut into the duster length, this coat is a strange mixture of fine and primitive airs. I find it quite fascinating.
