When I had these photos taken, I stood in the blazing sun; the dark shade in front looked alluringly cool. And I thought, summer’s really here! In Boston, that means packed sidewalks and a grueling complexity in securing a table at almost all trendy restaurants across town. But that certainly doesn’t stop us from going out in high spirits.
An effortlessly chic outfit like this would be my kinda go-to weekend ensemble. There’s always this irresistible appeal of simplicity in a plain white cotton blouse, and these pointy bowknots are some trimmings that are pure magical. One caveat with cotton is the fabric’s susceptibility to wrinkling, but buckling the car seat belt underneath though the top’s side slits fixed the problem for me.
