This was the birthday gift I received from bae. And I gotta say, when La Maison du Chocolat comes in a container the size of a shoebox, I’m sorry, but chocolate wins!

To be completely honest, being a self-proclaimed chocolate snob, I used to have reservations toward the chocolatier’s grand reputation as I thought the ones I tried were a bit overly sugared. Given a second opportunity to try many more kinds this time, I have to agree that the chocolates were indeed extremely fine – I do still wish some were less sweet but that’s not going to stop me from converting already.

Everything from the box tastes highly delicate. My favorite from the box was the Twigs Collection.

And even if you’re not much of a chocoholic like me, this variety box is still worth a try and is a perfect gift option for the upcoming holidays.
