I wish the French label, Paul & Joe, were easier to find in the country. I found this skirt on Net-a-Porter and was thrilled to snag the last size 0 in stock. This white cotton skirt has open embroidery, a.k.a. broderie anglaise (allow me to be fancy once), all over and the most adorable button fastenings through front. The half-way cut lining creates subtle airy peek-through. And the slightly funky oversized pockets cannot be more right here. What else screams laid-back summer louder than this combination?
Size 0 is a snug, perfect fit at waist. The length looks more like a maxi than a midi on me, given my small frame, but I don’t mind. The 100% cotton fabric has a soft and luxe hand.
How’s everything’s week been going? Hope y’all have a great one!
xx,
D
