BROCHU WALKER X ZHOURS NO.4 – Sleek Lines

I do eighty percent of my shopping online nowadays. And my deep fears for buying pants that way never went away.

Partly because I’m probably more than fussy about clothing in general; partly is because pants – especially the classic, investment kind like these, unlike forgiving tops, are all about the fabrics and the cut.

When Brochu Walker sent these, I was, pretty much, in heaven. The weighty crêpe fabric drapes beautifully as I held them; the fabric is very wrinkle resistant; and the cuffed hem adds subtle design.

And by the time I put these on, I was completely relieved – they fit perfectly. If you have seen my alternation bill, you will know exactly how I felt the moment I fit them on.

It may sound a bit odd, but working with Brochu Walker has been a learning experience filled with pleasant surprises for myself too. As I style and share the looks with you, I have developed a stronger, deeper bond with the label for its meticulous attention to details and quality. I am impressed by how well they fit, how luxe the fabrics feel, and how totally chic yet cool the designs look.

You can literally wear everything with these pants and look effortlessly chic. I threw on this silk wrap top by Tibi and these Tod’s sandals to keep it simple and comfortable.

The Nomad crossbody by COACH is also a recent favorite. COACH’s new development in the past few years feels refreshingly on-trend, to say the least. The classic craftsmanship is now enhanced with a modern edge. I love the humor in the bag, just as much as I love its premium quality.
