Before I figure out a way to practically survive and thrive in a brutally icy environment clad in one single layer, I cannot think of a more chic way than pants like these – no those marvelous over-the-knee boots won’t cut it for me – to rock the cold here on the East Coast.
These budget finds from H&M are also extremely easy on the wallet to experiment with, if you aren’t quite sure. The oversized 100% wool scarf is also a steal from the same brand. Make sure you always scout out their premium material collection for basic styles before you shell out 5 times more for a similar item.
