I wanted to make sure I don’t miss out the Southern Hemisphere at the same time. Actually, despite the dire climate differences, Southern Hemisphere styles seem to travel well.
Onion-ing is the way to go.
There are a whole world of styles that would smoothly go under the structured polka-dot midi to stop the ventilation from the dress’ one-shouldered top and side-slit bottom. Prime examples include: layering tees, fitted knits such as mock neck and turtle neck, fitted blouses, flowy blouses, oversized poplin button-downs, prints or solids.
In a word, anything that practically and emotionally fits. And the same rule applies to the layering bottoms and the outerwear, or I should say, outer layer.
I wouldn’t consider Uggs as part of this ensemble. Nor am I going to comment on treading in snow in these platform leather boots. Let’s just say, I mostly drive in harsh winter days.
Happy holidays, all.
