These extended pointed collars are everywhere now, if you haven’t noticed. It’s proven once again that we are all somewhat nostalgic after all.
Balenciaga is making an unmistakable emphasis on these as the rest of the form is kept relatively minimal. From Gucci to Ellery to Céline, these collars are manipulated in a similar manner but to a reduced level, leaving room for modesty or other accents, if you prefer.
