Someone commented on my Instagram and called this look “alien glam”. I thought it was quite vivid.
Opaque tights are back; more so are the colorful ones. Admittedly, colorful tights were not part of my childhood – I wore mostly white ones. The return of retro styles altogether actually lent me an opportunity to explore these as an adult. The glaringly soaked hues are funky but satisfying. They pack a punch like nobody’s business, and for better or worse, aggressively transform a look. I appreciate the individuality and vigor.
Pictured here is one windy day when I wore these jade colored tights with these embellished satin pumps. Guess I made it loud and clear: this is, no doubt, alien glam.
