There is so much more than just these unmistakably statement puffy sleeves to the blouse. The deliberately pulled-back shoulder slopes gather an idle impression; the finely lined sleeves and the trimmed waistline are sly details that brought the blouse a cut above the rest. The checked pattern on linen appears sun-washed and evokes certain rustic character – I personally prefer this to the plain poplin finish.
These vintage inspired high-waist jeans are a natural match. So is a pair of floppy linen pants or a swing midi.
I think of the rolling fields of Provençal lavender, historical wineries and buildings, and the Alpine range. I’d say let’s bring the French countryside idyll in town in time for summer.
